Getting on a program that contains the right six pack exercise will be absolutely vital to your progress. Most people are struggling to get results and it's because they aren't approaching their workouts correctly.

Here is what you need to know about six pack exercise.

Up Your Intensity

First, you must up your intensity if you want to see good progress. Many people think that longer workouts will help them burn more fat, but that isn't the case.

When done properly, you can actually burn far more fat in a 30 minute workout than you can in a 90 minute workout. But, you need to know exactly what you're doing. Intensity is key for boosting the metabolism and burning fat.

Shorten Those Rest Breaks

Next up, if you want to use six pack exercise the right way, you need to keep your rest periods relatively short. Some people are resting all the way up to 4 minutes between sets!

That's far too much unless your goal is absolute strength. But since your goal is to get six pack abs, this isn't the case.

Short and sweet is the name of your game. 30 seconds to one minute will be sufficient for you to reach your goal.

Add Some Instability

Finally, also be sure you're adding some instability to the actual six pack exercise you do. Instead of doing crunches on the floor, do them on an exercise ball.

Rather than doing a plank on the floor, do that as well on an exercise ball.

There are so many different exercises you can do on an instability ball that you'd be silly not to use it.

So, be sure you're keeping these points in mind as you go about creating your six pack exercise program. Utilizing the right principles will place you in a much better position to see really great results.
